Have you ever felt challenged by parenting? Have you ever felt overwhelmed by pregnancy? Any parent can honestly say that parenting has its challenges! We are excited to let you know about a resource center that can help you- it is the only one of its kind in this area! First Source for Women is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to the sanctity of human life. We provide support and education to those facing situations related to an unplanned pregnancy from a biblical perspective. We uphold human life from conception to natural death and encourage a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are an outreach ministry, committed to providing compassionate guidance, education and help for all involved, prior to, during and following an unplanned pregnancy.
We believe that all human life is sacred and a gift from God. First Source for Women exists totally in support of the rights of the unborn children, whom God has graciously entrusted to our care.
Each year, 9,000 women believe that terminating their pregnancy is the only solution to an unplanned pregnancy. First Source for Women is the only pregnancy resource center in Cullman County dedicated to offering all the options to mothers by supporting them one woman at a time…to spare her and her child from the terrible effects of abortion.

- Pregnancy Options Information (Our Life Affirming Specialists provide factual information about pregnancy options: parenting, adoptions and the risks of having an abortion)

- Earn While You Learn Program (Pregnant clients can participate in a series of Earn While You Learn classes and earn “mommy money” to buy baby items from our boutique)
- Referrals for community assistance
- Male Mentoring Classes
- Every client receives a Bible
How can you join us in this ministry? You can host a baby shower at your local church or schedule a diaper drive with your group! The items given will go in our baby boutique for our mothers in the Earn While You Learn program. Christ Covenant Church on St. Joseph Street is one example: They are having a baby shower on Sunday, July 17 from 2-4 p.m. in their narthex. There is always a good reason to have cake!
You can ask about our Baby Bottle Boomerang. Each filled bottle holds the opportunity to give life.
