GOOD HOPE – The Good Hope Youth Basketball Association's annual summer camps are happening soon. The camps are open to all youth; they do not have to attend Good Hope to participate. Pre-registration is this Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m.-noon in the Good Hope Primary School gym. Camps themselves will also take place in the primary school gym.
Camp dates are as follows:
June 20, 21 and 23 from 6-8:30 p.m. for boys and girls entering grades 2-4
June 27, 28 and 30 from 6-8:30 p.m. for boys and girls entering grades 5-6
The cost is $60 per camper and each child will receive a T-shirt. The camp will be run by Bill Caldwell and many of the coaches from the association. Coach Smartt with the Play Smartt Academy and Darin Liles of the Shoals Basketball Academy will be assisting with the camp, which will focus on fundamentals.
