Drug sting leads to trafficking arrest in northwest Cullman

CULLMAN – On June 12, Cullman City Police Department narcotics investigators and other officers, while conducting a drug sting operation in the northwest sector of the city of Cullman, arrested Phillip Travis White, 27, of Cordova, for trafficking in illegal drugs (methamphetamine). 

Investigators recovered 33 grams (over 1 ounce) of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia and $803 in cash.  Investigators also recovered an air pistol underneath the driver’s side seat of the vehicle that was rolled up inside of a mask. 

White was transported to the Cullman County Detention Center where he is being held on a $1 million bond.
