CULLMAN – The Cold Springs 12 U Lady Eagles softball team finished an impressive season last night in the county tournament. With a regular season record of 21-0, they went 4-0 in the tournament to clinch the Cullman County Championship against a very competitive Cullman Parks and Rec team.
The team was led by lefty pitcher Emma Black with a great defensive effort by the rest of the Lady Eagles squad. On offense, Catcher Kyla Aaron had two home runs and second-base player Heidi Nichols had one homer to help seal the win for the Lady Eagles.
