Joyce Lucas, age 80, of Springville, passed away on April 9, 2016 at TLC Nursing Center. Mrs. Lucas was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and worked for many years as an office manager at Duffner Boiler Company. She loved gardening and her animals. Mrs. Lucas was predeceased by her husband, Ross Andrew Lucas, two children, Thomas Stephen Lucas and Timothy Ross Lucas, a brother, Thomas Lucas and by her parents, Hubert and Bonnie Stephens Brewster.
Survivors include: a granddaughter, Amber and husband, Stephen Marsh, of Highland Lake; two great-grandsons, Gabriel Marsh and Caleb Marsh, both of Highland Lake; a grandson, Elisha and wife, Faith Bush and a great-grandson, Odin Bush, all of Holly Springs.
A memorial service was held on April 13, 2016, at Lemley Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Gary Hatter officiated.
