James “Jim” Garnett Faust, Junior, age 85, of Oneonta, passed away on March 31, 2016 at the Golden Living Center. Mr. Faust worked for A and P Warehouse for 25 years and retired from Calvert and Marsh Coal Company. He was a lifelong member of the Rosa United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and raising cattle. Mr. Faust was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Eunice Ratliff Faust, a son, Michael Faust, a brother, Paul Faust and three sisters, Mildred Whited, Lucy Gibbs and Heddy Lou Faust.
Survivors include: his wife, Doris Evans Faust, of Rosa; two sons, Jimmy and wife, Jana Faust, of Oneonta and Jeff and wife, Phyllis Faust, of Clay; three grandchildren, Jamey and wife, Ashley Faust, of Athens, Jacie and husband, Joey Bryant, of Susan Moore and Justin and wife, Christy Robertson, of Nectar; four great-grandchildren, Carly Bryant, Ryan Faust, Riley Robertson and Harper Robertson and a brother, Martin and wife, Sue Faust, of Rosa.
Funeral services were at Lemley Funeral Home, on April 3, 2016, at 2 p.m. Reverend Jerry Gargus officiated. Burial was at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery, at Rosa.
Pallbearers were: Bruce Faust, Neil Faust, Patrick Fendley, Phillip Whited, Jamey Faust and Joey Bryant.
