Funeral services for Desmer W. McAnnally, 82, of Hanceville will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Fairview West Baptist Church; Trueman Davis officiating, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McAnnally passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 29, 1933 in Cullman County to Ott & Ethel Purdy Barnett and is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eugene “Bull” and Cecil Barnett; and a brother in-law, Murl Rucks.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Jane (Lynn) Kelso and Wanda McAnnally; four grandchildren: Penny Collins (Jimmy Collins), Eddie Kelso (Dana Wallace), Toni (Greg) Jenkins and Shane Harper; twelve great grandchildren: Cole Collins, Kristin Kelso, Raven Gilliland, Garrett Brown, Taylor Rassman, Jordan Thompson, Savannah Phillips, Bama Dingler, Weston Thompson, Addalynn Rassman, Shine Harper and Jake Harper; two sisters, Melba Rucks and Mary Ellen Burnham; and a sister in-law, Jean Barnett.
