Funeral Services for William Othell Denney, age 64 of Holly Pond, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Zion Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery, with Bro. Brad Hadley & Bro. Chad Allbright officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church form 1 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m.

Mr. Denney was born on April 13, 1951 to the late Winford & Avillar Hooper Denney of Fairview, and passed away while fishing at Lake Catoma on Monday, March 7, 2016. William was a member and deacon of Zion Grove Baptist Church for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Laura Daniel.
He is survived by his Wife of 47 years – Paulette Denney; 2 – Daughters – Angelia Paulette (Dan) Dahlke & Jennifer Diane (Chuck) Gambrill; 6 – Grandchildren – Blake Dahlke, Zeb Dahlke, Megan Gambrill, Anamarie Dahlke, Molly Gambrill & Tucker Gambrill; 4 – Sisters – Sarah Holcombe, Edna Brock, Linda Duskin & Lisa Compton; one Brother – Michael Denney.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
