Dewayne Burns, 53 of Haleyville, entered into rest on March 3, 2016.
Mr. Burns was born on November 16, 1962. Dewayne loved listening to country music, playing on the computer, and playing with his dog "Bella".
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2 p.m. Brother Jeff Whitten will officiate. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Dewayne is survived by his special friend, Cherry Pearson; daughter, Amy (Aaron) Hopson; grandchildren, Austin Thrasher, Zachary Thrasher, Haley Thrasher; brother, Billy Burns; sister, Vonda Burns, Melody Rice, Crystal (Jimmy) Jarvis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.V. Burns; mother, Betty Goodman; and 1 infant grandson.
