PRICEVILLE – The West Point Warriors soccer teams are still trying to find their identities as the "new kids on the block" in the soccer world, dropping a pair to the Priceville Bulldogs. However, West Point is moving in the right direction and improving each and every game.

The Lady Warriors had a tough go of it from the opening kickoff Monday. Finding themselves down 6-0 at the half, West Point had a tough mountain to climb. They played hard in the second half but they could not avoid the game-ending 10th goal that came at the 12:37 mark, invoking the mercy rule and ending the game.

The Warriors held their own for most of their match against Priceville Monday night. West Point put nine shots on goal in the first half, just two short of Priceville who had 11. The Warriors shots were true to the net, but six saves from the Bulldog's keeper kept them off the board.

The second half was action-filled with two goals (34:05, 13:01) and a trio of yellow cards, with two being issued to Priceville.

This may be the first year for the for the Warriors on the pitch, but they have proven they are not going to be run over by anyone in the league. West Point will taste victory sooner rather than later and CullmanSense with be there, will you?
