Funeral services for Michael Coy “Mike” Cates, 61, of Bremen will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Cold Springs Baptist Church; Harce Swann officiating; with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cates passed away on February 24, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Cates and Lucille Washington Cates; his daughter, Shannon Kristy Cates and his nephew, Eric Cates.
He is survived by his son, Michael Coy (Natasha) Cates II; grandchildren, Brayden Cates and Lila Cates; brothers, Wayne Cates, Cecil (VivaLee) Cates and Don (Shirley) Cates; sisters, Jewel Williams and Shirley (Edward) Willoughby and a host of nieces and nephews.
