CULLMAN – The Link of Cullman County’s annual event and auction, GROW 2016, will take place on Tuesday, March 15 at 6 p.m. at Loft 212, located at 212 Fourth St. SW. Doors will open and the silent auction will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner following at 6 p.m. Shane Quick, of Premier Productions and founder of Rock the South, will be the night’s guest speaker.

“We can't wait to share with you all God has done this past year through the ministry of The Link of Cullman County,” said The Link Founder and Executive Director, Dawn Owens. “This year's annual event will include a review of 2015, recognizing our 2015 Dream Big award winners, a message from Shane Quick of Premier Productions and a silent auction to raise funds for all the growth happening at The Link and in our neighbors.”

The Link of Cullman County is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that supports the needs of community members through goal-setting, career advising, financial counseling/literacy programs, GED classes, adult literacy programs and ESL classes.

The Link is working towards overcoming the barriers the poor and vulnerable face in Cullman County. They believe in offering a hand up and not just a handout. In doing so, they believe that God wishes to use the body of Christ in Cullman to love and support those in need. They are not one local church but many local churches serving together.

“We are so excited about this event,” said Owens. “Want to sponsor? Need tickets? Want to donate an auction item? Let me know. All proceeds go to support life transformation in Cullman County through The Link of Cullman County.”

The Link of Cullman County continues to grow and serve those in need here in Cullman County, but they need help. Join them Tuesday, March 15. Tickets are $25 per person.
