CULLMAN – Young professionals in Cullman will soon have a new organization. On Thursday, March 17 at 6 p.m. at Karma’s Coffee House, the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s new program is slated to begin. YPCullman will be a meeting place for the next generation of community leaders, designed to channel energy and nurture leadership potential.

“YPCullman is a group that encourages young professionals ages 22-39 to become involved in the Chamber and in their community,” said Leah Bolin, Chamber president. “Participation in YPCullman will introduce a new generation to the Chamber and its mission. We will begin with quarterly socials. Over time, we hope this will evolve into community awareness and concern, committee involvement, entrepreneurial roundtables and eventually leadership roles. Young professionals under 40 will have the opportunity to meet, engage and change the world around them through the Chamber of Commerce.”

The Chamber is challenging the young adults of Cullman County to come together and make YPCullman a success. It is an opportunity for the future leaders of Cullman to meet, network and become involved.

Employers are encouraged to send their employees ages 22-39.

Karma’s Coffee House is located at 103 First Ave. NE, Suite 140.
