CULLMAN – Investigators with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) arrested Kevin Dewitt Garner yesterday for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree.

The operation that led to the arrest was executed at 2042 Larry Ave. in Cullman on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Investigators made entry into the residence and arrested Garner, who had warrants for two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. While inside, investigators and deputies located methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.

CCSO seized approximately three grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.

“This is another drug pusher in jail and meth that won’t make it to the streets in our community,” said Sheriff Matt Gentry. “I would also like to thank the investigators for the good job they did on this arrest,” added Gentry.

Garner is being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $66,000 bond.
