Funeral services for Betty Gelene McDearmond, age 83, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Eugene Loyd officiating. Interment in Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McDearmond passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her residence.
She was born August 14, 1932 in Cullman. She lived in Michigan for over 50 years and retired from General Motors as an inspector.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elon Oden Lloyd; her husband, Willard McDearmond; a son, Donnie McDearmond; a grandson, J.R. McDearmond; and a brother, James Lloyd.
She is survived by her daughter, Gelene Silva; six grandchildren, Angela Parrish, Brian McDearmond, Josh Silva, Melody Brothers, Orie McDearmond and Stephen McDearmond; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
