Funeral services for Myra Johns Boyd, 79, of Hanceville will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; with interment in Center Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boyd passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Una Whitaker Johns; her husband, Kenneth Boyd; daughter, Kim Shroyer; grandchildren, Aidan Day and John Trenton Baker and brother, Charles Johns.
She is survived by daughters, Kaye Bentley, Kennetha Day and Kelley Casey; grandchildren, Misty Creel, Michael Day, Nathan Shroyer, Justin Stricklin and Delane Bentley; great grandchildren, Courtney Creel, Lauren Creel, Aubrey Shroyer, Ellie Owens, Logan Owens, Jack Stricklin and Emerson Stricklin and sisters, Janie Clark and Dee Bradford.
