Graveside services for Dorothy Irene Boone, 87, of Hanceville will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at noon at Cullman Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Boone passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Dee Grantham and Ella Nora Pichelmeyer Grantham and her husband, Ernest J. Boone.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest Boone and Norman Boone; seven grandchildren, Charlotte Ivey, Carrie Ivey, Norman Boone II, Carissa Boone, Michelle Boone, Marsha Watson and Daniel Boone; six great grandchildren, Trent Watson, Kolton LaGrone, Skye Leopard, Tori Leopard, Tessa Leopard and Alley Gay and two great great grandchildren, Marley Leopard and Claire Grund.
