Funeral services for Gary L. Tankersley, known as ‘Tank’, age 57, will be Tuesday, January 5 at 11 a.m., at Ebenezer Baptist Church; Clay Tankersley and Michael Jones officiating, with Interment in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tankersley died Friday, January 1, 2016 at his residence in Cullman. He was born June 23, 1958 in Cullman County to parents, Oscar Clayton and Glenice Mildred Barnett Tankersley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwight Tankersley;
Survivors include four sons, Josh (Jamie) Brannon, Kyle (Stacey) Tankersley, Clay (Ashley) Tankersley, and Heath Tankersley; one daughter, Amber (JR) Carnathan; brother, Rex (Kathy) Tankersley; three sisters, Glenda Shea, Dixie Powell, and Jan Morgan; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
