Funeral Services for Evon Johnson, age 80, of Breman, will be Monday, January 4, 2016, at 2 pm, at Kinney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Dillon Calvert is officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Johnson passed away Friday, January 1, at his residence. He was born August 8, 1935, in Sulpher Springs, to Otto and Clara Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shelda Fay Johnson, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
He is survived by his sons, Barry Johnson, Kim Johnson, and Russell Johnson, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a sister DeEtte Knott.
