Funeral services for Lou Christine Odell Green, 85, of Hanceville will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Church of God Cathedral in Warrior; with interment in the Colony Community Cemetery. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Green passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Johnson and Minnie Lee Shelton Johnson; her husband, Walter Green and two sons, Clifford and Roger Green.
She is survived by six children, Virgil Green, Mervin Green, Oral Green, Hazel Green Anderson, James Green and Felicia Green; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Marshall Johnson; sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
