Funeral services for Virginia Norene Roan Burrow, 95, of Hanceville will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burrow passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Genesis Health Care, River City Center in Decatur. She was born August 5, 1920 in Morgan County to James E. Roan and Cora Jane Wright Roan. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theoder Burrow; sisters, Elgie Holloway, Annie Jane Collins, Margaret Holloway, Catheleen Moses and Cora Lanell McClendon and brothers, Lowry Roan, Milford Roan, Elbert “Monk” Roan and J.W. Roan.
Survivors include her stepson, Jerry T. (Jo) Burrow; step grandchildren, Beth (Julian) Tune, Susan (Jim) Baker and Jon Burrow; step great grandchildren, Jackson Burrow, Ella Burrow, Luke Baker and Jake Baker; sister, Helen Ruth Roan and many nieces and nephews.
