Lavara Jo Dial McGriff, Loving Mother and "Grannie" to many took on her heavenly wings at home surround by loved ones early Saturday morning. She was born in Cullman to her parents, Paschal and Lula Morris Dial.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband of 61 years: Ovis J. McGriff, Son: Eugene "Blue" McGriff, Brothers: Thurman and J.W. Dial, Sisters: Sarah Stewart and Imogene Harris.

Visitation will be held Monday evening, December 14, 2015 beginning at 6 p.m. at Coronerstone Revival Center.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon, December 15, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Coronerstone Revival Center. Mrs. McGriff will lie in state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. funeral time
