CULLMAN — Sunday, December 7th, 2015, agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), arrested Jesse Elijah Durham, 34 years old of Baileyton, Ala.
Durham was arrested for Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The drug bust originated in Baileyton, Ala. after a traffic stop was initiated where Durham was arrested at the scene for an outstanding warrant. After a search of the vehicle was conducted CNET agents discovered in excess of thirty grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
“I am proud of the job CNET did in getting this drug dealer behind bars,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “The Sheriff’s Office will continue our efforts every day to identify, arrest and hold accountable those who harm our community by trafficking meth and other drugs in our county,” added Gentry.
Durham is currently being held in the Cullman County Detention Center on a $1,000,000 bond.
