Funeral services for Mr. William Thomas McAnally, age 83 of Cullman will be at 2 pm. Thursday, December 3, 2015 from Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Cullman City Cemetery.
Mr. McAnally passed away Monday at Walker Baptist Senior Care Center. He was born in Birmingham to Zack O. and Laura Garnett McAnally. He attended Phillips High School and UAB. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1950-1954 in the Korean War, with the rank of ship serviceman first class. He served aboard the USS Norton Sound, USS Antetum and USS Yorktown. He retired from RCA after 31 years and has lived in Cullman for the last 28 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 56 years; Mary Elizabeth Hicks McAnally, sister; Patricia Ann Lane.
Survivors include daughters; Elizabeth McAnally, Mary McAnally and Rachel (Russell) Cobb, son; Paul McAnally, brother; Zack Oscar McAnally, III and sister; Doris Dossett.
