Funeral service for Hanley Woodard, 87, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church at 2727 County Rd 40 Arley, Al 35541, Dr. John Garrison, Rev. Greg Dollar and Rev. Kyle Woodard officiating with interment in adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. through 2 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Woodard passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence. He was born on July 25, 1928 to parents, Tommy and Vera Belle Denson Woodard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and mother of his children, Jeannie Taylor Woodard; granddaughter, Tracy Haggard; brothers, James Woodard, L.T. Woodard, O’Neal Woodard; sisters, Ophra Allen, Eloise Ramey, Joyce Key.
Survivors include his wifeof 26 years, Janette Woodard; sons, Tommie (Cheryl) Woodard, Ray (Janice) Woodard, Darell (Kelly) Lee, Jeff (Pam) Lee; daughters, Bonita Wilson, Phylles Phillips; brother, Mack (Evelyn) Woodard; sisters, Jean Connor, Judy (L.C.) Pratt; brothers-in-law, David (Martha) Garrison, Phillip (Nancy) Garrison, Dr. John (Amelia) Garrison, James (Sandra) Garrison; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday night at Cullman Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
