Funeral services for Willie B. “Buddy” Mickle Sr., 90, of Hanceville will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church; Wayne Wisener and Trueman Davis officiating; with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mickle passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Jackson Mickle and Bessie Choate Mickle; his wife, Virginia Mickle; son, Willie B. “Bill” Mickle Jr. and brothers, Devon and Eroy Mickle.
He is survived by three children, Trecie Grimmett, Larry (Shirley) Mickle and Steve (Debbie) Mickle; daughter-in-law, Montez Mickle; grandchildren, Jason (Rebekah) Mickle, Keli (Chris) Thrasher, Rex (Teresa) Chambers, Kenneth Jones, Patrick Jones, Jamie Jones, Kristy Mickle, Lee (Britnie) Mickle, Josh Mickle, Jessie Mickle, Chad (Chrystal) Mickle and Jeff (Cindy) Mickle; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Marie (Emmett) Melton and Mildred Phillips; special friend, Easter Norton and a host of nieces and nephews.
