Funeral services for Joyce Hendrix Wood, age 86 of Huntsville, will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24th at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in New Hope #1 Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Mrs. Wood passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at her residence in Huntsville. She was born in Cullman on August 6, 1929 to Albert Grady and Alma Jewel Hendrix.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oakland Hoytt Wood; and son, Reggie Wood.
Survivors include her son, Larry Wood; two daughters, Denise Wood Walker and Vickey Wood Spencer; grandchildren, Michelle Spencer Brightwell, Doni Walker, Miranda Walker Grabow, Robert Spencer, Rachel Spencer Keslo, Jacob Wood, and Abigail Wood; great-grandchildren, Jonas Brightwell, Natalie Grabow, Bailey Grabow, and Joey Grabow.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
