Funeral for Bobbie Buettner, age 85, of Cullman, will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, at St. Paul's Lutheran with visitation two hours before the service at the church. Burial will follow at Cullman City Cemetery. Mrs. Buettner passed away Thursday, November 12. Moss Service Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Pastor John Bussman will be officiating the service.
Mrs. Buettner was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran church where she served in the choir and Sunshine Club. She was also instrumental in helping establish the school at St. Paul's.
Mrs. Buettner was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bill Buettner. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Buettner and wife, Sabrina; Charles Buettner and wife, Sherry; granddaughter, Melanie Buettner; grandson, Brannon Buettner and wife, Autumn and their daughter, Ava; and Austin Buettner and wife, Kailey. The family is grateful to loving caregivers Caroline Metz, Amanda Connell, Tiffany Johnson, Linda Coots, and Marlene Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran School.
