SOUTH VINEMONT – A multitude of rumors, text alerts and other forms of social media began swarming Friday night as a National Guard convoy was spotted entering Cullman County.
“(The) Tennessee National Guard is on their way to training and are staying at the Ag Center tonight,” CPD Assistant Chief Craig Green said.
Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry said he contacted Dispatch once notified of the convoy’s location.
Gentry said he, “contacted Dispatch, and they confirmed the city escorted them to the Ag Center where they will be training this weekend.”
I Was Just On 157 At About 8pm And The Police Had The Traffic Held Up Because They Was A Whole Lot Of Militarily Vehicles Getting Off The Interstate And Coming Into Cullman. Does Ant Body Know Why?.
