CULLMAN – On Saturday, Tractor Supply Company hosted a pet adoption event to encourage adoptions and to support local animal groups. The event was part of Purina Days, which lasted from Wednesday, May 27 -31.
All Purina Days events are open to the public and their pets.
Along with products to care for a variety of pets and animals, Tractor Supply had free adoption kits for the first 10 customers who adopted a pet or animal from a local shelter or rescue.
During the event, the store hosted the Cullman Area Animal Welfare Association (CAAWA) who was onsite offering pet adoptions and advice on animal care.

“CAAWA is a very small organization, so we need volunteers, foster homes – desperately need foster homes so we can save more animals,” explained Sue Jones, CAAWA volunteer.
“We also need donations to help pay the vet bills. We just do the best we can with what we have to change things for the better for the animals in Cullman County.”
