Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Cone Harris Goodwin, age 93 of Cullman will be at 3 p.m. Sunday March 15 at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Tommy Graves and Randy Phillips officiating, burial will follow at Fairview West cemetery.
Mrs. Goodwin passed away Friday at CRMC. She was born April 24, 1921 in Cullman Co. to Alton Thurlo and Anna Mae Creel Cone. She worked as a clerk at Ratliff's Wholesale.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Clarence William Harris, Sr. and Carse V. Goodwin, son; Clarence William Harris, Jr., daughter; Gloria Harris Schuman, brothers; David and Robert Cone, sister; Pauline Cone Harris Ballard.
Survivors include a son; Alton Carl Harris, three daughters; Mary Ann (Eddie) Sims, Geraldine (Bill) Hendrix, and Melba (Bob) Stanford, son-in-law; Charles Schuman, daughters-in-law; Peggy M. Harris and Barbara Tubbs Harris, sisters; Edith Dean and Ethelene Woods, brother; Buddy (Sharon) Cone, fourteen grandchildren; Clarence "Dumpy" (Ira) Harris, III, Mitchell (Oneter) Sims, Teresa Harris Tollison, James Nelson Harris, William A. "Willy" (Camilla) Hendrix, Brandon Sims, Jonathon Harris, Julie Sims (Ken) Martin, Justin Gerard (Laci) Schuman, Laurel DeeAnna Hendrix, Jaythan Harris, Harrison "Hank" (Nakisha) Hendrix, Carmen Schuman (Wes) Hastings, Kate Stanford, twenty four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
