Funeral services for Mr. Philip Earl Young, age 68, of Vinemont will be Saturday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. from Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Duke officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer cemetery.
Mr. Young passed away Wednesday at CRMC. He was born in Cullman December 9, 1946 to Harvey Dewitt and Rubye Johnson Young. He was a mail handler with the US Postal Service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Jerry Wendall Young, niece; Sherri Young Barnett, nephew; Jay Cordy Briscoe.
Survivors include four sisters; Kathy Lee, Karen (John) Yarns, Connie (Bruce) Lee and Barbie Briscoe, nine nieces and nephews; Retta Young Sisk, Rhonda Young, Mark Dewitt Young, Amy (Alex) Doherty, Krista (Michael) Livengood, Nic (Heather) Barbee, Jennifer (John) Manasco, Nathan (Kelly) Lee and Blair (Cody) Thompson, twenty four great nieces and nephews.
