Mr. Keith E. Smith of Cullman Alabama passed away on March 12, 2015 at his residence at the age of 67. He was born in Cullman on January 29, 1948 to Nathan Jr. and Valeria Armendia Mize Smith. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in The U.S. Army as a helicopter crew chief and a gunner. He was also the owner/operator of K & S Plumbing for 30 plus years. He was a member of Daystar Church where he was active in The Care Ministry and Master Hands. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Daystar Church with Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating. Mr. Smith will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
Survivors are: Wife: Shelby Trammell Smith, Daughter: Kristie (Randy) Keffer, Sons: Robert (Chrysta) Smith, Isaac Smith, Sister: Angie (Ed) Jochum, Grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Levi Smith , Sarah Earnest, Surrogate Grandchildren: Courtney Hayes, Hope and Malea Mason, Mother-In-Law: Dorothy Trammell, Sisters-In-Law: Sandra (David) Duke, Cindy (Larry) Watwood, Rena (Ricky) Marchman, Donna Trammell, Brothers-in-Law: Danny (Lisa) Trammell, Doug (CC) Trammell, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family: Buddy (Rita) Sonnett, Chuck (Shelia) Talley, Rodney Mason and Christina Mason.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Moss Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
