Mrs. Betty Faye Wood Freeman of Cullman Alabama passed away on March 9, 2015 at Hanceville Nursing Home and Rehab at the age of 84. She was born on December 15, 1930 in Cullman to William Coy and Zorada Sharpton Wood. She was a longtime member of Seventh Street Baptist Church and was involved in teaching Sunday School and many other activities at the church. She was owner and operator of several small businesses in Cullman during her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Calvin Forest Freeman, Grandson: Kevin Ray Gardner and a Sister: Peggy Wood Livingston.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Gardner and Rev. Scott Harris officiating. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are: Daughters: Deborah (Bobby) Gardner, Martha (David) Garrison, Son: Stephen (Tena) Freeman, Grandchildren: Jeffery (Jennifer) Gardner, Joshua (Lashay) Garrison, Caleb Garrison, Derrick (Kristiel) Garrison, Melda (Mike) Thornton, Zac (Misty) Freeman, Brittany (Wesley) Sams, Great Grandchildren: Grace Caroline Gardner, Andrew Kevin Gardner, Elijah Garrison , Lizzy Garrison, Allie Freeman, Olen Freeman, Brenten and Brinley Sams, Michael, Isaac, Zion, Jrisann, Tricia, Esala Thornton.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m.
