Mrs. Lovie Golden, age 88, passed away Saturday morning, March 7, 2015 in Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born in Cullman County to Greene and Emily Smith Harris. Mrs. Golden was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She is preceded in daath by her parents; husband, Howard Elbert Golden; daughters, Jill Freeman and Paula Jones; brother, Lonnie Harris; sisters Margaret King and Leathie Harris; grandchild, Chris Freeman.
Survivors are sons, Bobby (Donna) Golden, Bo (Debbie) Golden, Ray (Rolinda) Golden, Harold (Bonnie) Golden; daughters, Frances (Jimmy) Bonner, Jerl (Jerry) Thomas; brother, Leon Harris; sisters, Marie Plunkett; 26 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015, Pleasant View Baptist Church. Bro. Randy Burtram officiating. Interment at Simco Cemetery
