Funeral services for Sarah Jane Dial Stewart, 86, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Ministers Bobby W. Stewart, Frankie D. Stewart and Shane Stewart officiating with interment in Good Hope Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Stewart passed away Tuesday, March 3rd, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born August 12, 1928 to parents, Paskel and Lula Annie Morris Dial.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Rosco Stewart; son, Michael Travis Stewart; great grandson Morgan Dale Anderson; sister, Lula Imogene Dial Harris, and brother, Rev. J.W. Dial.
Survivors include sons, Thurman Elmer (Donna) Stewart, Bobby Wayne (Melba) Stewart, Edwin Dale Stewart, Randall Keith Stewart and Frankie DeLon (Kim) Stewart; daughters, Nathalea Rose (Dwight) Daniels, Gale Brock and Judith Cassandra ‘Sandy’ Stewart; brothers, Thurman H. Dial and H. Pierce Dial; sister, Lavara Jo McGriff; sister-in-law, Pauline Pitts; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces; great-great nephews and nieces; family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
