Roland ‘Sonny’ D. James gave up the ghost and entered the sanctuary of heaven on Saturday, January 31, 2105.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dee James and Minnie Glover James and all eight of his siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene, daughter Ronda Bell and husband Jay, son, Ronald and his daughter Gabrielle; grandson Bill Pagan and wife Constance and their children Ethan, Wilkes, Mercy, Uriah, Lily Grace, and Hudson; grandson Jeremy Pagan and wife Brandy and their son Eden; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Memorial service will be Sunday, February 8, 2015, at 2 p.m., at Bro. Keith Whitley’s Victory Baptist Church on Highway 278 West.
