Mr. Max H. Britt, age 83, of Rock Springs community in Blount County, passed away Friday morning, January 30, 2015 in Marshall Medical Center North. He was born in Winston County, Alabama to Tom and Grace Chester Britt. Mr. Britt was a self-employed poultry farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donnie Britt and survived by his daughter, Kay Britt.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Daryl Holt officiating.
Interment to be held at Rock Springs Cemetery, Blount County.
