Funeral services for Erick Jerry Wood, age 73 of Boaz, formerly of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donald Cotton officiating. Interment will be in Duck Creek Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wood passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Dekalb County. He was born July 10, 1941 in Blount County to the late O.S. and Alice Wood. He was retired MSGT from the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Patsy Elaine Barbee Wood.
Survivors include his son, Vernon Erick Wood; two daughters, Lorrie Lynn Wood Hoskins and Roxie Angela Wood (Shane) Otinger; two brothers, O.D. Wood and Troy L. Wood; a sister, Pernia S. Wood; five grandchildren, Jeremy Joseph (Sharla) Hutfles, Matthew Thomas (April) Hutfles, Christopher Alan Hoskins, Zachary Dayne West and Zander Shane Otinger; and four great-grandchildren, Tannier Michael Hutfles, Skyler Thomas Hutfles, Rachel Elizabeth Hutfles and Baily Diane Hutfles.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
