Mr. John Burtus Higdon passed away January 20, 2015 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was 87 years old.
Mr. Higdon was born August 19, 1927 to Robert and Pearl Heatherly Higdon.
Funeral Services will be held January 23, 2015 at Moss Service Chapel at 1 p.m. with interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday January 23, 2015 at the funeral home from 11 p.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m.
Survivors include his son: Johnnie (Debbie) Higdon, Grandsons: Bobby (Nikki) Higdon and Michael (Nicole) Hembree, Granddaughters: Heather (Justin) Lumpkin and Dionne Hembree, 4 Great Grandchildren, Sister-In-Law: Pat (Rick) Yerby and A Host of Nieces and Nephews.
