CULLMAN – With the announcement of the fourth installment of Rock the South to take place on June 19-20, concert promoter Shane Quick announced Thursday, Country music star Brantley Gilbert will be taking to the stage at this year’s quickly growing country music festival.
"Brantley Gilbert is one of the hottest and fastest growing country music artists, period,” said Quick. “His Country/Southern rock sound will be a perfect anthem for a Rock the South night.”
The concert series will take place at Cullman’s Heritage Park. Quick said he and the rest of the RTS crew have been working tirelessly since last year’s event to make sure concert goers have a great time at the two-day festival.
"Since June 23, 2014, the question in the Rock the South office has been 'How can we make Rock the South 2015 bigger and better?' And we believe we have done just that. Simply put, you have sent us your requests and we have heard you loud and clear,” he said.
When Quick said they heard the fans loud and clear he meant it.
“He's (Brantley) also one of the most requested artist from the Rock the South fans,” he said. “We wanted to come out of the gate strong with a name we knew everyone would love. Stay connected to Rock the South as more announcement are coming every week!"
As with last year, RTS promoters will be releasing details such as ticket information, artist lineups and much more on a weekly basis, building up the excitement for the South’s fastest growing country music festival.
“In the coming days, we will be releasing details that will be the talk of the South. We wanted to get the dates and location out first, so people can mark their calendars and make arrangements,” he said. “Later this week, we'll be sharing information about a special ticket pre-sale, where all Rock the South patrons can get the lowest priced tickets available. We're looking forward to another successful year of introducing people to the great city of Cullman, AL."
