Funeral services for Doyle Ray Duffie, 74, of Hanceville will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; Dan Cobb and David McDonald officiating; with interment in Laodicea Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Duffie passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Falkville Nursing and Rehab.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Teddy Duffie and Lottie Gertrude George Duffie; brothers, Jack Duffie and Bobby Duffie and sisters, Dorothy Nail and Betty Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Baker Duffie; daughter, Teresa (Jack) Rea; son, Greg Duffie; granddaughter, Lacy Rea; grandson, Kent (Tabitha) Rea; great great grandson, Nathan Rea; sisters, Gladys Talley, Billie Smelcer, Shirley Walker, Barbara Lipps, Carol Hanner and Joyce Joiner and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
