Funeral services for Edward Lawrence Smith, 56, of Hanceville, will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 13th, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Smith passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1958 to parents, Franklin D. and Mary Ann Smith.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Asa and Ruby Smith, Hoke Harmon and Lillar Mae Smith; father, Franklin D. Smith; step-father James Fred Schwaiger and a brother Curtis Patrick Schwaiger.
Survivors include his mother; brothers, Richard Brian (Debra Kay) Smith and James Michael (Angela) Schwaiger; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
