Funeral service for Grady Junior Mattox, 70, of Vinemont will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at West Point First Baptist Church with interment in Corinth West Cemetery, Revs. Delwin Kilgo and Steve Rodgers officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 12-1 p.m.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Mattox passed away Saturday, November 1st at his residence. He was born September 17, 1944 to parents, Grady Elijah & Mary Ella Bozeman Mattox. Junior was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Nicholson File after many years and he loved hunting and his horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Crantford, Robert, and Thomas Mattox; sisters, Algaren, Evelyn and Liz.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Betty Mattox; two sons, Shannon (Christy) Mattox and Sean (Kristina) Mattox; three grandchildren, Dakota, Zoe and Lane Mattox; two sisters, Florene Johnson and Susie (Willie) Clements; a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Cullman Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m.
