HOLLY POND – The Holly Pond Broncos kick off their 2014 season against the West End Patriots tonight at Holly Pond. The Broncos kick off to the Patriots but they were unable to keep moving down field and the Broncos take possession with an interception by Caleb Jones.
A short pass by Micheal Lambert to Caleb Jones put the Broncos on the board, with the PAT by Luke Calvert putting Holly Pond ahead 7-0 with 8:19 remaining in the first quarter
After a fumble by the Broncos Lambert, the Patriots were able to drive down the field to a touch down by Patriot Caegan Epperson, tying the game at 7 all with 5:32 in the second quarter.
The Broncos made their way to the end zone one last time with a 13 yard pass by Lambert to Mathew Doyle with 6:31 left in the 3rd quarter.
The fourth quarter saw all the varsity starters taking a rest, as the jamboree game came to a close.
