CULLMAN – Citizens Bank and Trust held a tailgate party Friday afternoon for the customers and the community. The bank grilled out hotdogs and hamburgers and gave away T-shirts, cups and other goodies. Customers and guests entered for drawings to win a mini-Yeti cooler or stadium seats.

Kasey Culbert, the bank’s marketing officer, said, “Each Citizen location in north Alabama has a customer appreciation event at least once a year. We have been open in Cullman for one year and nine days, so ours coincides with our one-year anniversary. A tailgate party is a fun way to get people in the bank. People have so many online options that we don’t see as many of our customers as we did in the past. We want to know our customers and our community.”

Among those enjoying the tailgate party were Gary Serrett and Eric Robertson from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Serrett, area director for the FCA, shared, “The folks at Citizens Bank are good citizens. They do many things to help us, so we wanted to stop by and show our appreciation.”

Citizens Bank and Trust is located at 223 Second Ave SE. The Cullman branch opened on Sept. 19, 2017. For more information on services, Culbert encourages customers to come in or find Citizens online on its website, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.
